50 word reflection

It was interesting looking at the different artists and their artworks, particularly the drawing of the Coliseum and how the artist imagined it would look from the air and how the artists changed their art to make the landscape scenery look more picturesque by adding or changing the water, buildings, vegetation and trees and animals. I am using the picturesque idea of layers (foreground, middle ground and background) in working on my island.

50 Word Reflection

This week’s lecture was interesting in viewing all the different pieces of art and design. I found the paper head the most interesting artwork there, it has a low quality gaming appearance. In relating to my own work I am looking at Christoph Schreiber’s work, creating a surreal appearance out of ordinary things.
